Me and the snowblower, making a sign for Kath in their baseball field. Also trying to cover the dog (Heidi)
Checking behind me making sure I made a straight line.
Frontal view of Mr Blower. It has electric start (you plug in an extension cord, push starter). I sheared a pin for one side of the blower, made a racket. Also note the clothing. Bloody cold face at the end of it.
Kitchen at feeding time. There are 7 dogs in picture. Can you spot them all?
Road towards town from Kath's place. The two lanes in the snow are a stark contrast to the snow.
Sunset/Sunrise (I can't remember), looking south. The tracks in the snow are from snow machines.
Al and Bear at the Fairbanks Uni Museum. Looking like a dork as per normal. Kath had just made a silly coment comparing our looks I think.
Lump of polished Jade in the musuem foyer. Also had the largest nugget of copper ever found (couple thousand pound).
Oh yeah, that tracked vehicle. 2 part tractor trailor unit thingo. Weird.
Front half of above vehicle. Each person in it has earmuffs on. Went at a decent clip.
Vehicle entrance to the Army base - post Sep 11. Looks like a 1980's East German border post. The 4 concrete barrels are also on the exit side. The green tnt is the vehicle inspection tent. Checkpoint building wall is at the left of the photo. This had nothing before Sep 11, just a straight drive with no one checking ID's or vehicles.
The slogan is "America's Arctic Warriors". The ice man in front is quite detailed. There are quite a few ofthese things around town, from coloured flags and big ice christmas trees.
The typical carpark view, with cars just sitting there and going.
Sunset in Fairbanks. So many good sunsets/sunrises here.
Kath in Kinkos. Looking very serious.
Proof that I wasn't bollocking about the clutch thingo. Read instruction 3. Comes frm the Subaru Wagon 2001 model.
Kath in front of the pipeline. The fins are cooling for liquid ammonia that condenses in the ground and evapourates and takes the heat away with it. Sneaky!
Pigs. These two devices go through the pipeline and clean wax off the side of the walls.
View of Fairbanks at sunset.
